Wow - another year is drawing to a close and it's a chance for us to take stock and reflect on everything we have achieved this year here at The Harpenden Guide.
Our goal was always for The Harpenden Guide Community App to be a free resource for local people to keep them informed and also to help support local events and local businesses. This year has been no exception and we've continued to grow our following locally to help keep people informed of all things local.
Here's just a few highlights from 2022...
The Harpenden Guide continues to be a community initiative for local people. We have promoted a wide range of local events, businesses and local activities throughout 2022. We have also continued to sponsor a fabulous flower bed in the town!
The App has continued to develop and evolve throughout 2022. This year we introduced a new feature to keep up-to-date on all things to do with Harpenden Town Council, we added a local Crime Update feature, updated and refreshed a number of regular features and also introduced a new Festive Feature outlining things to do locally at Xmas.
Nearly 4,000 local people have now downloaded and are benefiting from The Harpenden Guide Mobile App (3,895 to be exact - * correct @24th December 2022).
The Harpenden Guide App regularly has over 1,000 App visitors a month accessing local information and using the App features.
The Harpenden Guide website continues to to be a useful signpost to the App and has over 500 visitors and over 1,000 page views each month.
Our following has grown on social media this year and we now have over 1,800 people keeping up to date on The Harpenden guide on our social media channels.
Our plans are for bigger and better things in 2023 so watch this space!
