Hey Harpenden residents!
Mark your calendars for an important date: Monday 22 July at 7:30 pm. The Town Council will be hosting an Extraordinary Council meeting at Park Hall, and are keen to hear your views!
What's on the Agenda? The big topic of discussion will be the proposed changes to 'on-street' parking policies and charges on Harpenden Streets. These changes are being proposed by the St Albans City & District Council (SADC).
Why Should You Care? Though Harpenden Town Council isn't the decision maker here, they are a key consultee. They'll be discussing and deciding on their official stance regarding these proposals, which they will then submit to SADC as part of the consultation process. Your voice matters in shaping that position!
Got Something to Say? The Town Council want to hear from you!
There's a chance for the public to speak at this meeting, but there's a process to follow so you can get all the details from the Town Council Website here...
SADC is expected to launch the public consultation with the specific parking proposals on 18 July.
This is your chance to review them and prepare your thoughts before the meeting.
There is also a petition of Change.org too that you can sign here...
Let’s come together to discuss these changes and ensure our voices are heard.
The Harpenden Guide Community App is a free local resource and community initiative to support local people. It's provided as a 'not-for-profit' initiative by local family business Big Buzz Solutions and can be downloaded from the Android and iOS App Stores. If you've not yet got the app downloaded on your device (it's free!) then you can get it here...
